I liked this photo for the "gold" color scheme. It may all look the same but it wasn't. If you look longer you see all the different tints and shades that blend in your eyes.
As disgusting as this photo is, I loved all the different yellows. either the cheese on my plate or the grease or the chips, you see it all working together. Plus it is quite repulsive, making it a unique photo element.
Black is so not boring. You see so many shades of the black in this snap shot. His hair, his shirt and the background all layered on top of each other feeling so different and yet all the same.
