1) The first photo is dark and brooding, almost like there is no escape. What catches my eye is the texture that is highlighted by the light and focus of the shot. What makes this picture for me is the use of negative space and and texture. 2) The second photo is of a hand flipping through the pages of a book. More specifically, it reminds of the times of cramming information as quickly as possibly right before an important exam. What makes this picture for me is the shallow focus of the book and the blur of the pages. 3) The third picture is an open book in the middle of library bookshelves. To me it shows how the world of literature is an open invitation for adventure and knowledge. What makes this photo work is the deep filed of focus on the book shelves than rather the book that is right in front of us.
