When I went to ArtPrize, I saw many different aspects of it - which ended up being my focus for the project. I wanted to focus on the art, the people, and even the city. First, there was a sense of joy as artists were able to express their perspectives and reveal their work for everyone to enjoy. Second, there was an obvious ponder and wonder as people had gathered from near or far to view the art. Third, there was a new and refreshing environment within Grand Rapids as people gathered to share their experiences with art. Fourth, each art piece brought in new perspectives that commented on a simple thing in life or even on the depths of society.
