ArtPrize
When it comes to ArtPrize I saw three different aspects of it. First, it's all about eyes. Grand Rapids becomes so filled with art your eyes are wandering all over the place. When this happens you notice not only the art but the city itself. Secondly, ArtPrize allows the artists to be out by their art. It becomes a personal experience. Third, I felt like I captured that moment that every artists is trying to reach in the people visiting. The last picture shows a man with a simple smile, content and happy. I feel that ArtPrize artists want to leave their viewers with this sense of contentment and peace within.
