Dorothea Lange is a famous photographer from the Great Depression era. Her work focused on the consequences of the Great Depression. She worked on documenting the struggles many families and as many people had to migrate and many people had lost hope. Being a historian, I appreciate her work to show the nitty gritty of what life was like for many people during her time. I admire the determination she had to be a successful woman photographer. She was a woman trying to making a difference in a man's world, and she did an incredible job of making her work matter. Each picture she takes tells a story.
